Consultation is Scheduled!
Amber (Marty's Mommy) Says:
November 16th, 2009 at 11:02 am Martysconsultation is scheduled for next Monday morning, so hopefully then wewill have a clear ruling of what he does and does not need duringsurgery. They will be giving us a low and high estimate again, butlet us hope it is not such a wide range in between. I am really thinkingthat talking face to face with the actual surgeon might get a few feeswaved, etc. I will update everyone soon!

Marty Has a Video!
Marty was in the ER on Halloween night. His prolapsed tissue was seriously swollen and he could not pass bowel. After two trips he was finally able to relieve himself. This little boy's time is running out. Please! I know times are rough these days, but if you can just spare a dollar, just $1 and pass this onto at least 10 friends you can help raise $10 more dollars, if they pass it on...you get the idea. One dollar at a time we can save this boy's life.

Mary needs surgery for anal prolapse

Sweet little Marty had been neglected by a previous family. Was left with a severe infestation of worms that caused his anus to prolapse. He was rescued by a loving young couple attending college and was given vet care. Marty was cleaned up and his anus was stitched. It looked like all was going well, but a few days after the stitches were out poor Marty prolapsed again.

Marty needs a permanent surgery to fix his rectal region and help him to live a healthy life. Without this surgery he will have to be put to sleep.

He is otherwise very healthy and happy, he has a loving forever home. Can we help this little one grow up and live the life he was blessed with?

Please? I promise I'll be good :)

Veterinary info is:

We aren't sure about the exact vet who would preform the surgerybecause the vet we go to for checkups, first surgery, shots, etc. isn'table to perform the colopexy. She turned us over to Florida VeterinarySpecialists, who have not examined Marty, but they will be the hospitaldoing the colopexy. They are familiar with us requesting grants, but ifyou call them, we are not on file there.
